A bit about you?

I’m originally from New South Wales (don’t hold that against me), I moved up to Qld in 2013.

I have been engaged for 3 1/2yrs to my fiance Kevvy. I have no kids which most people find odd at my age but I’ve never had the urge to have children. I love to play soccer, I play centre back with my sister and our team is top of the table in our over 30’s comp.

If you’re looking for me on the wkds, (if I’m feeling energetic) i’ll either be running stairs or mountains or (if I’m not feeling energetic) chilling at home colouring in or watching a movie.

Why did you become a trainer?

I became a trainer because I needed to help myself before I could help anyone else. I had my “mid-life crisis” at 29! I realised how unhappy I was with my life at the time so I quit my job and moved interstate to QLD with my sister. All we did for the first 6 months (while we were looking for a job) was exercise, I was trying to become a better person when I decided to do my PT course, who knew I’d still be in the game and making a career out of it 10yrs later!

Something unique / interesting about you?

I am OCD!! Not Sheldon Cooper OCD and have to knock 3 times but I love efficiency, processes, spreadsheets, straight lines (you’ll know what i mean if you’ve seen my writing and the taped squares on the gym floor) and a good “to do list”.

Before I became a trainer I worked for Spotlight (ladies Bunnings) for 11 years! 5 years in store and 6 years as one of their national merchandisers, traveling around Australia, New Zealand and Singapore relocating, renovating and fitting out new Spotlight stores.

Fun fact: My name (Romana) comes from the original “Doctor Who” series with Tom Baker.

What do you love about PEPT?

We’ve created something really special here which I’m proud to be a part of. I’m constantly surprised how many wonderful, good natured people we have in the same location - clients and team members! I’m lucky that I get to see awesome people everyday and help them become happy and healthier versions of themselves. Some of the things that happen here are literally life changing! This is a special place and I wouldn't want to work anywhere else.

What advice would you give to someone who’s thinking about getting started?

You have to start somewhere and you won’t find anywhere that cares more about your goals than we do. We are the perfect place to start your journey with no mirrors or intimidating “gym junkies”, friendly clients and down to earth coaches. If you’re going to succeed anywhere it’s here! The only person holding you back is you! There’s no time like the present so get started today, we got your back!

When you realise how much support is here for you there is no possibility of failure.

We have the right system for anyone to start with us!
